Topographic Maps Updating using Satellite Images

This website’s primary goal is to explain the ways in which topographic maps can be updated with the use of satellite images. For instance, the interpretation of aerial photographs using satellites solved doubts in the updating process and had an important contribution to the final updated
map. The results concerning information content highlight this alternative to updating topographic maps with low cost through an alternative methodology. Therefore, it was a nice incorporation of modern satellite usage that proved to be time cost efficient.
Targets
Our targets are the following:
1. The exchange of experience and knowledge on the field of being able to "Topographic Maps Updating using Satellite Images".
2. The collection and publication of meta-data and meta-information containing the field of being able to "Topographic Maps Updating using Satellite Images".
3. The presentation of our work in the field of being able to "Topographic Maps Updating using Satellite Images".
4. The collaboration with other partners from academia and public domain.
